I’m Mara Ellison, a photographer working mostly at the edges of the day — first light, last light, fog that hasn’t decided yet. I shoot landscape and quiet, unpeopled places, largely on film.

This site is a folder of images and text on a domain I own. No gallery platform sits in the middle; the work is just files, and it stays mine. Prints are made to order, and I take a small number of commissions each season — the contact page is the way in.
